Confirmtkt's Free Cancellation Protection Assures Full Refund on Train Ticket Cancellation

An online train ticket booking platform, Confirmtkt introduces Free Cancellation Protection on its platform. This move makes Confirmtkt the first-ever platform to provide free ticket cancellation on train bookings. By opting for this protection, users would get a full refund back while cancelling the train tickets. The user choosing the 'Free Cancellation Protection' could cancel their train ticket either four hours before the train departure or prior to the chart preparation.

This free cancellation protection option is available for ‘tatkal’ passengers as well. They can claim 'Free Cancellation Protection ' to avail full refund. But, current reservation booking tickets are not entitled to free cancellation, at present. In case of partial cancellation, the full refund would be equal to the base ticket tariff of the cancelled passenger alone.

"Most of us have come across the situation when we had to cancel our tickets due to unforeseen changes in the travel plan. In such cases, customers are usually required to pay hefty cancellation fees depending on how late they cancel the tickets. With the new Free Cancellation Protection, we would no longer charge any cancellation processing fee for train ticket bookings. Unlike other platforms, users can avail full refund Confirmtkt, thereby enjoying a certain level of flexibility," says Dinesh Kumar Kotha, Co-founder & CEO, Confirmtkt.

The company has used advanced graph-based technology and utilized several quotas Indian railways provide for the travel to enable the passengers to get a ticket even for last-minute bookings.
